Our Policies & FAQs

In this area you will find important information about our policies and procedures. If you have any questions please contact us at 902.639.2535.

Tee Times & Bookings

Your tee time is the time that you tee off. Please come early to allow time to check in at the Pro Shop before your tee time. Anyone playing must sign in each time they play. Players should be at the 1st tee at their assigned time. Members may book 5 days in advance, counting the day you call in (i.e. you may call on Tuesday for a Saturday tee time). Non-members may book 4 days in advance (i.e. you may call on Wednesday for a Saturday tee time). If you cannot make your tee time for any reason, you must notify the Pro Shop in advance. If you miss your tee time, you will be offered the next available time (during peak season this could mean later in the day).

Is early morning golf permitted?

Early morning golfing is allowed (conditions permitting). There is a first come, first golf policy. Early morning golfers must be off the first tee before the first regular tee time, 15 minutes before first tee time on Weekdays and 30 minutes before first tee time on Weekends and Holidays. If a guest is with you, they must check in after 9 holes and pay for the round. If you have a tee time and decide to golf early, please notify the Pro Shop as soon as possible so that time can be used by another golfer.

Does Fox Hollow have a dress code?

There is a dress code in effect at all times. All shirts must have collars, for both men and woman. Mock-necks and turtlenecks are acceptable, but t-shirts and tank tops are not allowed. Pants, jeans, walking shorts, and capris are allowed. Gym shorts, sweat pants and short shorts are not allowed. Fox Hollow is a soft spike course. When you bring a guest, please ensure they know the dress code.

Recording Scores and Handicaps

There is a computer available for members to record all scores. You must record your scores in order to establish a handicap. Handicaps are required to be eligible to play in club tournaments. The Pro Shop staff will be glad to set you up in our computer and explain the handicap system to you. Scores may also be recorded using the Golf Canada App. Please record all of your scores. This is the only way to establish a true handicap.

Does Fox Hollow Golf Course have a Marshall?

We have a Marshall on the course most of the time to keep things moving smoothly. If you see a problem, please inform the Marshall.

Power Carts

Power carts are available to rent from the Pro Shop. Rules can be found on the back of your cart key. Please ensure you follow the rules. No carts are allowed in the tall grass.
